Prefaces – Explanation:

All steps of the project process must be adhered to.

  • NADEUM proceeds as if it were a UNIDO project.
    .
  • To all NADEUM members. All process requests can be made via a pre-announced video call. [Allow at least one week’s notice for the appointment].
    .
  • What NADEUM offers: If you adhere to the following planning points exactly as described, we can include them in our agendas, read them, discuss them within NADEUM (the headquarters in Vienna), deal with them in accordance with our statutes and support you in submitting them to various institutions and in obtaining financing.
    .
  • In the case of possible financing, it should be stated in the first concept whether it is a donation (no repayment), an earmarked financing (repayment without interest, but with an index clause – means value preservation) or a loan.
    .
  • We would like to make all NADEUM members aware that everything takes time. For smaller requests, you should expect up to 6 months before they can be implemented by us. Depending on the size and complexity of the request, it can take up to 5 years before a project can be started. We cannot estimate how long it will take to implement the project once the project concept has been drawn up and all possible partners have been contacted.
    .
  • You have to realise that it is unrealistic to believe that ideas reported by you can be implemented in the same year, or even in the same quarter of the year.
    .
  • We are aware that most people, whether in Africa or Europe, do not have the patience to plan for the long term. We also know that schedules longer than six months are difficult to communicate to many people around the world. Only in the global business world, be it in science or in other economic projects, do you have to learn again and again to deal with longer development processes.
    .
  • The ‘Light Your Fire’ and the ‘NADEUM annual training’ serve to motivate oneself, to act in a goal-oriented manner and to consciously plan projects over longer periods of time on one’s own responsibility.
    .
  • We also ask for your understanding that we as NADEUM cannot provide any financial resources to support you in this regard. We are not a financial banker.
    .
  • NADEUM is primarily a strategic planner. We concentrate on peace-promoting ideas and the projects that arise from them.

.

In order to make these process steps possible for everyone involved, it is a prerequisite that the Light your Fire training, which lasts one year, is actively pursued. After all, it is about nothing less than preparing to successfully complete projects, regardless of how long they take.

What projects is NADEUM planning, discussing and realising?

1) Light Your Fire! Social and communicative competence (motivation to be able to use one’s own abilities in a goal-oriented way)

2) Designing peace concepts in such a way that all participants come on board. [Here we develop instructions that are always successful when used correctly.] >Ethiopia, Syria<

3) ACAPMUSSC-MYC (The equivalent of ERASMUS+). Its implementation in Europe took at least 40 years before the politicians of the respective states recognised the value of this idea. This is because it requires those in positions of responsibility to rethink. It is not about maximising one’s own profit, but about giving everyone the opportunity to acquire knowledge and to be able to use it correctly in the future. It requires a ‘we’ thinking and not an ‘I’ thinking.

4) IT Solutions Africa (Ethiopia, Kenya, Sierra Leone, Sudan). CryptIT in cooperation with the partner NGO GAFÉIAS (is an Internet security system that is becoming increasingly important today to protect one’s own Internet infrastructure from external attacks). Respective state ministries and UNIDO are partner here.

5) Plastic (the aim here is to enable a rethinking process for all interested parties in order to create awareness of the problems associated with this petroleum product). Plastic is a material that brings enormous benefits to almost all areas of the economy, but can also cause massive environmental damage if not disposed of properly. Worldwide, there are already numerous solutions for recycling plastic products after use, so that the plastic can be reintroduced into the production process.

The main criterion is a clear connection to the motivation and energy to contribute to sustainability on the planet. Initiatives that contribute to the development of human civilisation are encouraged.

Project concepts and their respective feasibility and quality are evaluated according to the available resources in the personnel and material area. In addition, compatibility with projects, business areas or companies that have already been implemented is checked or determined.
