Responsibility for financial transactions, whether debit or credit.

All functions are equally accessible to all genders. This is not always explicitly mentioned in the text in order to ensure optimised writing and readability. In the following functions, this is indicated by a footnote (*).

  • We ask all Project NADEUM members, all SHGs, CBOs and NGOs that have been officially approved by their government and have received a certificate to resubmit it.
  • The certificates must not be photographed, but scanned. The files must be sent clearly and legibly, without any wave patterns or shadows.
  • All SHGs or CBOs that have not yet been approved and are therefore still in the approval process will receive a certificate of recognition recognised by NADEUM from us upon request.
  • This applies to the two CBOs in Kenya/UNHCR Camp I–IV with the abbreviations SACVI and YETC. This could also apply to the SLTTC learning centre and the EAT in Ghana. These would be recognised as projects on our part under the umbrella of the NADEUM headquarters.
  • The reason for this is that all associations of any kind that are not officially recognised by the respective state can only apply for subsidies from international or national institutions or funding agencies through an umbrella organisation. All associations that have not yet been officially approved and are applying for subsidies can only do so as internal NADEUM HQ projects, in this case of NADEUM HQ. This is because officially approved associations or institutions are required.

Please note: Private accounts and money transfers via Western Union and other internet portals are not permitted.

Every NGO, CBO, SHG or LearnCenter must have an official bank account. The authorised signatories must be specified. This must be confirmed by a resolution of the respective association’s executive board.

This means that you must send us a board resolution in which your association’s executive board, which has been disclosed to us, decides with the current date who is authorised to sign and manage your association’s account. Internationally, the dual control principle applies. This means that at least two people are responsible and can be held accountable by investors in the event of discrepancies in cash flows.

Therefore, we require:

1) The current resolution of the association’s board of directors stating who the two persons responsible for financial matters are.

2) Who manages the bank account and money transfers, such as the association’s cash register. Normally, this is the treasurer and his or her deputy. However, it can also be the treasurer and the respective chairperson of the board (regardless of gender). They may not be ordinary members.

3) The persons must hold positions within the elected association board.

3.1) Name of the person (and photo)

3.2) Telephone number

3.3) Email address

3.4) Official address

3.5) ID card (scanned on both sides) or passport showing all data including personal signature.

4) Resolution of the executive committee and countersignature by the respective person with their signature. This must be identical to the ID card or passport.

5) We also require the IBAN of the official bank account, the international name of the bank and the BIC/SWIFT code of the bank. The ATM card must be scanned on both sides, but without the 3-digit verification number, which serves as an identification number for money transfers or payments and must never be visible to us or other persons.
