Light Your Fire! ‘Important for you’

Hello, valued NADEUM members in Africa. In 1 hour and 30 minutes, there will be another Google Meet meeting with us, Andreas, the trainer from Light Your Fire! We have given you all a task in which you renew your statements and then fill in the Success Principles Visions with more photos and images so that we can better identify you with your goals. These were supposed to be discussed today. Regarding your projects, we have found that you have understood Andreas and that your financial officers have done an excellent job. These financial plans are not for us. Rather, they are intended to give you the opportunity to demonstrate to investors on the international stage that you are well aware of your financial responsibilities and of your project as a whole. The next step is now up to you, not just us, to find institutions on the internet in your home countries where subsidies for projects of your kind can be obtained, provided that the brief project descriptions and the financial plans you have drawn up meet their requirements. We at NADEUM will do our best to make this possible for you. Please note that all CBOs, SHGs and learning centres that are not yet registered are under our care

As always, we have three time zones. West Africa 12 noon, Austria 2 p.m. and East Africa 3 p.m. The Google Meet link will be sent to everyone 15 to 10 minutes before the start of the video meeting. Anyone who can attend is welcome.

  • Those who have not yet participated in ‘Light Your Fire!’ and have not yet registered using the ‘Light Your Fire!’ registration form can do so at any time.

Please try to practise and edit your statements as much as possible. Your statements will be edited on the following Saturday, 21 June 2025, at 3 p.m. in East Africa, 2 p.m. in Austria and 12 noon in West Africa.

To all participants of today’s Google Meet session on 21 June 2025 [East Africa: 3:00–4:15 p.m., Austria: 2:00–3:45 p.m., West Africa: 12:00–2:30 p.m.].

Firstly:

Kenya, Wasini Island, Sierra Leone:

Your understanding of the excellent statements and outstanding articulation of your Success Principle vision and statements sets you apart.

Andreas is delighted that you are now actively living your visions, that they inspire you, and that you are teaching the coming generations to take full responsibility for a more sustainable and mindful future.

So that at least your primary and secondary school children, as well as the adults who attend your information events, will be more aware of their own lives in the future.

To Ebeneza Sotik – Kenya:

Please send me your statement and your ‘Success Principles Vision’ via WhatsApp.

To Denis Mitei – Kakuma – Sotik:

We hope that you are doing well under the circumstances. Either your internet connection was inadequate or you are not doing so well. Where are you currently? Ebeneza wanted another explanation from you. Perhaps you can send it to us via WhatsApp.

Bilali Abdallah, Wasini Island, Kenya:

We were very pleased that you were able to join us today. I hope that your wife and future child are doing well, given the circumstances you mentioned. I will review all the data we compiled together and send you the complete project paper. Please read it through. If there is anything to change, correct or add, please let us know. As all pages are numbered, please always mention where something needs to be improved.

André Lutula-Lefils-UNHCR-Camp II Kakuma-Kenya:

Excellent statement, great performance. The project documents you have sent to date from your SACVO board and the various other documents will be reviewed and sent to you as a complete concept. If you agree, we will proceed with drafting the letters of request. In order to send these, we need to ask you to find institutions in Kenya or Congo that actively provide financial support to ambitious citizens.

To Lebbie Ibrahim – Bo City/Sierra Leone:

Please make a list of all possible institutions, CBOs, SHGs, learning centres in all possible areas such as education, IT, social skills training or mindfulness towards nature that provide financial support through subsidies, microloans or other subject-specific support.

Abdulai Jaholla-Freetown/Sierra Leone:

He was there briefly and was visible as Nelson.

Regarding the expansion of the IT infrastructure in Sierra Leone, the following should be noted:

Inadequate IT transmission mast expansion

Unfortunately, the internet connection in Sierra Leone appears to be poor.

IT infrastructure and road logistics

Although the internet has been greatly expanded in many African countries, this is a problem that poses major challenges for many African countries, especially in rural areas. This is not only due to the enormous distances involved, but also to the fact that many people are moving from the countryside to the cities. Nevertheless, the African rural population cannot be compared to the European population. Farmers as we know them do not exist there for the most part. Property ownership is rather unknown. Land is cultivated where small farmers have always been. Large-scale redistribution through war is currently underway again. Sudan, Niger, Mali, the DR Congo and Rwanda are affected. The entire rural population is suffering greatly. There are internal migration flows within Africa. This has happened from Liberia to Ghana, from the east of the DR Congo to Kenya and from Sudan to Kenya. This is extremely difficult for Kenya to cope with.

IT-Logistic and road- and train logistics

The expansion of this IT infrastructure and road logistics requires enormous financial resources, regardless of who provides them to the population of the respective state.

The meeting took place. Those present were:

Google Meet on 15 June 2025 at 2 p.m.

  • Mediator: Georg-Josef
  • Coach: Andreas G.
  • Participants: Barnaba (SU), Denis (Ke), Moses (Li), André, Kiza (DRC), Abdulai (SL), Bilali (Ke)

The meeting will take place:

  • East Africa: 3 p.m.
  • Central Europe: 2 p.m.
  • West Africa: 12 noon.

The meeting therefore took place on 15 June 2025 at West Africa [12 noon/CEST 2 p.m. and East Africa 3 p.m.

  • East Africa: 3 p.m.
  • Central Europe: 2 p.m.
  • West Africa: 12 noon.

The following agenda is possible:

  1. Questions about the various projects
    Short answer here:
On Tuesday, 17 June 2025, at 7:30 p.m., an internal NADEM meeting will take place with board members Georg-Josef and Andreas.
The documents and Word files for the Sierra Leone project SLTTC by Lebbie Ibrahim and his umbrella organisation RPG_Afrika will be reviewed and checked for completeness. Andreas will inform me, Georg-Josef, whether everything is in order or whether corrections or further information are required.
At the same meeting, the IT solutions paper will be finalised and then made available on our NADEUM website: https://nadeum.africa/en/it-solutions/#page-content.
  2. Furthermore, Kiza Echisco, who has already submitted the five-year financial plan, can explain his project in a little more detail.
  3. André should submit his five-year financial plan.
  4. As for Barnabas and Denis, we ask you to contribute your ideas more actively.
  5. Barnabas and Kiza took and sent some good photos and videos. I hope you will also provide a report on this. After all, it is your story. We can only send them to the young woman ‘Tik-Tok Campaign Marlene Loos’. However, she cannot make up a story. These must come from you. The more detailed and better described, the better. Marlene Andreas may ask for further information. However, this will not be discussed in this meeting. This will also be discussed next Tuesday.
  6. All members who attend the meeting on Sunday, 15 June 2025, can talk to Andreas about their projects. Not everyone has already provided us with sufficient information about their project ideas.

The project list I have created for your NGO, CBO, SHG and Learn Centre is as follows:

  • 7. We have chosen a similar topic tree for each one.
  • 7.1) The board (two pieces of information are still missing – the members in question have already been asked and informed).
  • 7.2) The members (only important if they want to actively participate in the project idea or if this is planned; everyone should decide for themselves whether they want to send the information). It is the responsibility of the respective CBO or SHG board to decide who participates and in what capacity. If so, the following information is required:
  • – Full name of the respective member responsible,
  • – Contact details such as email address, telephone number, address,
  • – CV, always with a personal photo,
  • – A short personal statement on one A4 page explaining what this member would like to achieve within their organisation, what they stand for and how they intend to perform their role.
  • 7.3) Financial plan: As already mentioned, a detailed 5-year financial plan is required. This is because you want to convince future supporters of your idea and also show them that you can handle finances carefully and have thought about how you want to develop your project as independently as possible with the income you receive in the future. This is because support is only available for specific topics. This is usually provided in instalments.
  • 7.4) Founding: What do we mean by this? What was your ambition in designing this project as it stands now? This is what outsiders want to know. The more detailed, the better.
  • 7.5) Projects: What is needed here?
  • 7.5-1) Project description
  • 7.5.2) Rough financial framework, detailed plan under 5.c).
  • 7.5-3) Project decision: Who approved it?
  • 7.5-4) Who submitted the application and what was the outcome of the discussion? What was the level of approval?
  • 7.5-5) Who is responsible?
  • 7.5-6) Which committee is in charge?
  • 7.5-7) Who manages the finances?
  • 7.5-8) Who monitors financial management?
  • 7.5-9) Who is responsible for the overall project?
  • 8.) Instructions from us and feedback

Please create a similar topic tree.

Once we have reviewed everything, we will send you the final Stage 1 documents. These will also be important for you in the future to share the knowledge with everyone who works with you. You are dominoes. Your knowledge is not secret. You should pass it on to others in your network. This is the only way you will be able to act with confidence in future projects. Why should only politicians, managers or the ‘so-called rich’ be able to do this?

If there is time left, then Liftyourfire! ‘Success Principles 2/3.4’ will continue.
