- The era of being an employee is long gone.
- Everyone is talking about how people in dependent employment should work longer. To be honest, many of us wanted that. In some sectors of business, however, older people should also be shown respect. They should be allowed to acknowledge that their bodies are getting older.
- Based on human rights, which state that all people have the same rights, many decision-makers in senior management believe that this must also go hand in hand with equal performance.
- What is taken for granted in Asia has not yet arrived in Europe: respect for long-serving employees.
- Employees who perform heavy physical work every day are unable to continue doing so into old age.
NADEUM stands for ‘Nachhaltiges Denken Umsetzen’ (Implementing Sustainable Thinking). The origin of this term goes back to a suggestion made by an advertising expert when the name was being chosen. He believed that the word should embody the essence of the association. This suggestion was made in August 2015, at a time when the meaning of the term ‘sustainability’ was not yet as firmly established as it is today, in December 2024.
The advertising expert believed that it should be a word with a positive connotation in German-speaking countries. For Austria, he suggested an ending derived from Latin, the ancient imperial language of the former Roman Empire. Today, English is the global language.
Porcelain is undoubtedly one of the most aesthetically pleasing and sustainable products ever created by humankind.
It is made from the raw materials kaolin, quartz and feldspar. Water is added during the manufacturing process. The raw materials are ground into powder, mixed and poured into moulds or spun into discs.

Sustainable means that those who want to give meaning to this word treat our planet’s resources with care and with consideration for all future generations. The three pillars of sustainability are the environment, society and the economy.

It is crucial to raise awareness of sustainable development.

It is crucial that we implement ideas that serve the well-being of our biosphere (Planet Earth).
However, it is important to do so with caution and prudence. Always remember that you are a role model for the inhabitants of this planet. We should strive to turn our dreams, hopes and wishes into actions. This applies in particular to future activities in the solar system and beyond.
Libraries serve as repositories for a wide variety of information.
According to historical sources, content was passed down in songs and stories thousands of years ago. It was only around 10,000 years ago that people came up with the idea of recording this content in sound. The Sumerians, who lived in Mesopotamia between the Euphrates and Tigris rivers around 6,000 years ago, were the first to use this method. Clay tablets are characterised by their high durability.
This is not the case with digital data and its carriers. Firstly, they require energy in the form of electricity. In the event of a power failure, the data is irretrievably lost. However, today’s computer technology offers no other way of storing large amounts of data and information.
WI – Knowledge
In order to continuously incorporate new findings, the acquisition and transfer of knowledge are of central importance. Continuing education will therefore be a key aspect of the association. We encourage you to share your knowledge with people who are actively seeking change.
Give them the opportunity to expand their knowledge through well-founded research reports. It is crucial to support all those who are searching for new paths.
KO – Communication
In order to achieve all this, language, gestures, feelings and smell are required.
Communication is a fundamental need for all humans and living beings in order to exchange thoughts and ideas, connect the past with the future and thus ensure human progress.
IT servers are now an integral part of our daily lives.
They store large amounts of data. However, the disadvantage of these data storage devices is that even the slightest power failure can cause such severe damage that all data is lost. The more complex the system, the more vulnerable it is.
AI (artificial intelligence) could one day remedy this shortcoming when it reaches AI-100 or higher. Other types of storage may also be used in the future. So-called quantum data storage is currently under development. According to all IT experts, this is expected to be the key.
