In order to explain the value of our voluntary services to our members, be they in Africa or elsewhere, we have to make it clear, in the face of certain covetousness or demands for donations, that all services have a value in the official economy, which is provided either through benefits in kind or (work x time = remuneration) through remuneration of some kind.

We have decided, on the advice of a former UNHCR manager, who strongly advised us against providing budget support, to assist our members with our knowledge if necessary.

• NADEUM offers annual coaching that introduces all participants to a future way of working and thinking. This coaching is accompanied by a certified coach. This annual coaching programme includes a two-hour coaching session every Saturday, followed by five exercises that participants have to learn by doing themselves in the following week. Those who take part in this coaching programme for a year and actively learn with it will acquire the tools to master their lives in our complex working world in the future.
• The value of this coaching in Austria (as of 2025) is estimated at €5000. The number of participants is at the discretion of the respective client. The coaching itself was designed for the African NADEUM members to last one year. So 52 sessions.

Likewise, all NADEUM members are given the opportunity to formulate their ideas in projects based on the experiences gained in their day-to-day business lives, so that they can write to and approach potential sponsors. The overarching goal is to enable members to finance their future lives independently. The following points are intended to show the association’s various services, including financial ones. Thus, the value of NADEUM is explained to our members. Because our contribution is based on expertise and not on financial resources.

• According to the area of responsibility, a UNIDO consultant is entitled to a financial claim of €2,500.00 to €12,000.00 per month.
• We at NADEUM are aware of the responsibility we bear in this context. For this reason, we provide you with our advice and project support, such as practical documents and project descriptions, as well as the entire project process, through the following calculations. (Working hours, technical equipment, logistics of all kinds, catering).
• NADEUM and its experts are committed to the cause and expect their services to be respected and recognised.
• All financial wishes, desires and other sensitivities will be denied.

Regarding financial support of individual members by other members of the NADEUM association, it should be noted that this is possible in principle, but it is on a voluntary basis and does not happen automatically. However, this support is provided solely on a voluntary basis and should not be taken for granted. Automatic responses, as are unfortunately common in Africa, are perceived by NADEUM as a lack of respect. We refuse to accept any form of this demand and any attempt to make it happen.
